The main subject of this year's ENTER 2011 conference focuses on how interactions among information and communication technology use and development affect eTourism and raises concerns on issues related to future practices, innovation and e-entrepreneurship. Other areas of debate are destination management and e-accessibility, and further case studies will be presented.
This year, social media will be a key subject - not only theoretically - and a range of case studies will be presented from different aspects. After all, Social Media is all about social engagement and interaction, people tend to act as brand advocates and Destination Branding is everything!
At the conference, Nelios.com - as a sponsor - will have a stand in the convention area in order to discuss about technology matters in Travel & Toursim, as well to provide the base for dialog, debate and social interaction. Furthermore, Dimitris Serifis – Business Development Director of Nelios.com – will inform visitors about the potentials of dynamic packaging that was implemented for the first time in Greece by us.
Issues covered by the conference include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Advanced distribution systems | - Consumer Inspiration through ICTs |
- Crisis and eTourism | - Distribution strategies |
- eLearning | - eStrategy and eBusiness models |
- Electronic marketing | - Enogastronomic tourism |
